Guild Esports Unveils Historic Counter-Strike Roster and Elite Performance Program

Guild Esports has unveiled its new Counter-Strike roster, known as the Guild Eagles team. The team, consisting of Genc ‘gxx-’ Kolgeci, Flatron ‘juanflatroo’ Halimi, Sener ‘SENER1’ Mahuti, Dionis ‘sinnopsyy’ Budeci, and Rigon ‘rigoN’ Gashi, made history as the first-ever team from the Albanian-Kosovar region to reach a Major qualifier. They have competed in three Counter-Strike Majors and earned $96,000 in prize winnings in 2023 alone.

The Guild Eagles team will be supported by a highly respected backroom staff, including head coach Jonatan ‘Devilwalk’ Lundberg, assistant coach Kevin ‘Krystal’ Amend, analyst Kieran ‘KayJay’ Playfair, and manager James ‘BanKs’ Banks. This team has gained a dedicated following with a combined social media following of over 112,000 on Twitter, 297,000 on Twitch, and 137,000 on Instagram.

Guild Esports has partnered with Ground+Air, a performance and wellbeing consultancy, to provide a specialized coaching and education program for the CS2 roster. This program, called the 'Elite Performance Programme,' will focus on both in-game performance and out-of-game wellbeing. Guild Esports plans to deploy this program to all their teams, both established and developmental.
